Burberry Beijing – Live Stream

13 Apr

To promote the opening of their flagship store in Beijing, Burberry hosted a live streamed event for everyone to attend online. Burberry decided to provide fashion bloggers around the globe with an embeddable live stream player for readers around the world to tune in and watch – which I think was a very strong idea. Good on them!

The event itself was brilliant; a celebration of the English weather, fashion and music – using technology in an an incredible way. I’d highly recommend to go and watch the recording of the event on the Burberry website  or take a look at the embedded player within the DisneyRollerGirl blog

I’m just not sure why Keane were involved? I presume the English band is very big in China?

The teaser of the event can be seen below:

I’m glad both Burberry and Ralph Lauren are paving the way for fashion marketing innovation. This is the sort of stuff that will generate huge PR and further leads.

Thanks for the mention! Yes, Keane…. strange choice. But that side, the event was truly spectacular. How on earth to top it?!
